Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Behavioral Health Technician and become a vital part of transforming lives through compassionate care and expert support. In this role, you will work closely with individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges, developmental disabilities, or trauma-related conditions such as PTSD. Your energetic and proactive approach will help create a safe, supportive environment where clients can thrive. You'll provide direct patient care, assist with behavioral interventions, and support treatment plans that promote recovery and well-being. Duties Assist clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety and comfort while promoting independence Implement behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques to support positive behaviors Conduct intake assessments and gather detailed medical and behavioral data for treatment planning Monitor vital signs and administer medications following prescribed protocols in compliance with HIPAA regulations Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to de-escalate situations safely and effectively Document medical records, behavioral observations, and progress notes accurately and promptly Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, special educators, and medical professionals to coordinate care Support individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or addiction issues through tailored interventions and compassionate patient care Skills Strong experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized behavioral support Proficiency in crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavior management techniques Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and HIPAA compliance standards Ability to perform medical procedures such as taking vital signs and medication administration accurately Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to develop effective behavior modification plans Excellent communication skills for working with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude combined with the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and confidently This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about providing impactful behavioral health services. Pay:
