We are building our technician team! We are hiring for Day, Evening, and Night Shift
  • Part Time, Full Time, and On-call.

What You'll Do Our Behavioral Health Patient Care Technicians are essential to this mission. You are the steady presence our clients depend on, the eyes and ears of the milieu, and a core part of a team that believes in dignity, respect, and compassionate structure. Support a Safe, Therapeutic Environment
  • Maintain a structured, welcoming, trauma-informed milieu where clients feel respected and cared for.
  • Build rapport rooted in compassion, boundaries, and consistency.
  • Model emotional regulation and help clients navigate vulnerable moments.
  • Support client's attendance and participation in their daily programming, encourage growth, build confidence, emphasize personal autonomy, and maintain positive regard. Client Observation & Support
  • Perform scheduled rounds, observe client behavior, and promptly report changes or concerns to clinical and nursing staff.
  • Support clients through daily routines, coping skills, goal groups, and treatment expectations.
  • Provide crisis support, redirection, and grounding interventions as needed.
  • As needed: Driving responsibilities including patients to appointments, pick up pharmacy items, or other needs as directed. Team Collaboration
  • Partner with therapists, nurses, and leadership to ensure cohesive and integrated client care.
  • Participate in shift handoffs, daily updates, and team communication practices that ensure continuity and safety. Documentation & Accountability
  • Complete clear, accurate documentation including observation notes, incident reports, and milieu logs.
  • Follow all Terra policies, state regulations, and safety protocols with consistency and attention to detail. Operational & Program Support
  • Support welcoming patient admission process including room preparation/housekeeping (as needed), thorough orientation, and peer introductions.
  • Promptly respond to patient needs questions and support patient discharges.
  • Support medication observation processes as required. Housekeeping Duties
  • Clean and sanitize client bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and staff spaces as outlined in shift duties
  • Follow infection control, safety, and facility protocols consistently.
  • Ensure spaces are orderly, calm, and welcoming .
  • Assist with laundry, linens, and supply restocking as needed.
  • Identify maintenance or safety concerns and report them promptly.
  • Support room readiness for admissions, discharges, and inspections. Culture Contribution

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License & willingness to complete Defensive Driving Course
  • 1 year experience in behavioral health, residential, hospital, or social services environment
  • CPR Certified or willing to be CPR certified prior to start date
  • Associates' or Bachelor's in psychology, social work, or related field (preferred)
  • Ability to stay calm, grounded, and compassionate in challenging or crisis situations
