  • Full-time Alis Behavioral Health is an adolescent-focused outpatient mental health agency in Westminster, Colorado.
Alis Behavioral Health offers group therapy in the forms of Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Alis Behavioral Health offers hope and helps adolescents between the ages of 11-17 struggling with a range of mental health concerns including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, trauma, school refusal, self-harm, and suicidal ideations. Alis Behavioral Health offers specialized PHP and IOP programs created to proactively address the issues youth today are struggling with. As a Clinician , you're responsible for providing therapeutic groups as a licensed practitioner. Provides services as a member of the inter-disciplinary treatment team, coordinating with the attending psychiatrist, other clinicians, and other team members. Primary Responsibilities:
Conducts an initial biopsychosocial assessment and establishes treatment goals for identified clients on case load. Facilitates in-person and telehealth groups as identified in the PHP and IOP guidelines. Works collaboratively with the inter-disciplinary team to ensure team treatment and a therapeutic milieu. Establishes therapeutic relationships with assigned clients to facilitate the treatment process. Provides effective communication during the shift. Participates in report and utilizes information to provide quality care. Communicates milieu and client issues to the treatment team members during the shift and problem solves effectively. Ensures compliance with confidentiality of client information based on HIPPA guidelines. Completes all required documentation according to policies and procedures and ensures that daily clinical notes document the clients progress in meeting their treatment goals. Identify clients and supports the milieu when clients are experiencing a crisis or behaving unsafely and intervenes to de-escalate clients utilizing the least restrictive means of intervention. Provides consultation to psycho-education groups to support the milieu treatment program. Participates in community outreach and marketing activities for company and promotes exceptional customer service throughout the program. Ensures active clients and family participation in the treatment process. Other Responsibilities Attends and participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings. Takes an active role in quality improvement activities as assigned. Knowledge and Skill Requirements Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist or Licensed Psychologist with at least two years of behavioral health experience in high acuity settings. Demonstrates advanced level of knowledge with group behavior and dynamics. Demonstrates advanced level of knowledge of licensing and accreditation standards. Adept at problem solving in crisis situations. Values an environment of personal responsibility and integrity in the context of teamwork. Highly skilled in communicating ideas and instructions, verbally and in writing, clearly and concisely. Environment and Scheduling Work is preformed Monday thru Friday and hours of operation are between 9am-7pm. Clinicians are expected to work 4, 10-hour days between Monday
  • Friday or as identified by Director of Clinical Services.
Duties involve contact with clients that may be suicidal, homicidal, depressed, anxious or have panic attacks and who are still learning to self-regulate. Clinicians are expected to have a mastery of a variety of tools to manage and treat high acuity adolescents including but not limited to behavior modification. Salary compensation will be commensurate with licensure and experience.
