Behavioral Specialt Direct Support Professional (DSP) Requirements DSP certified or the ability to become certified through our paid training At least 22 years of age Transportation to your shifts Lift 50 lbs Pass a criminal background check Minimum 4 years' experience with Behavioral health Ability to work and communicate with behavioral issues in a calm and professional manner. Direct Support Professional (DSP) Duties Assist individuals with personal care needs - all ADL's Assisting with all household task, meal preparation cooking and cleaning; maintain a safe and healthy home environment that encourage learning. Monitor individuals and engage in redirection. Document individual's activities, concerns and progress notes as required. Participate in and out-of-home activities which may include driving company vehicles. Provide an Abuse and Neglect free environment at all times.
