ABSS Clinician - Behavioral Support Specialist 📍 ATC Healthcare Hudson Valley Location Overview ATC Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced ABSS Clinician (Behavioral Support Specialist) to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in counseling, behavioral assessments, treatment planning, and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The ABSS Clinician functions under the supervision of a licensed psychologist and plays a vital role in providing clinically appropriate treatment and behavioral support services. Responsibilities Provide clinically appropriate treatment in accordance with treatment plans Conduct behavioral evaluations and assessments to determine therapeutic needs and diagnoses Develop individualized treatment and behavioral support plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment notes and service reviews Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment and support teams Participate in patient planning reviews and staff meetings Conduct staff and family training as appropriate Maintain compliance with all safety, privacy, and regulatory standards Follow organizational mission, values, and professional standards Qualifications Master's degree in a clinical and/or treatment field of Psychology Training in assessment techniques and behavioral program development Prior experience providing counseling services under OPWDD guidelines preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience using EHR systems and standardized testing tools Valid New York State driver's license required Preferred Skills Behavioral therapy and treatment planning Psychological and behavioral assessments Crisis intervention and patient advocacy Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Why Join Us?
