Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM-3:15 PM Job Summary Our client is seeking a compassionate and reliable Behavioral Technician to provide direct support to a 7th-grade student with autism while also assisting within the classroom environment. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, collaborative, and committed to fostering a positive learning experience for students with behavioral and developmental needs. Responsibilities Provide direct behavioral support to a student with autism. Assist with behavior management, including elopement prevention and responding to occasional aggression. Support classroom staff in implementing behavior intervention strategies. Document student progress, behavioral incidents, and daily notes accurately. Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. Qualifications Experience working with children with autism or behavioral challenges preferred. Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution‑focused in high‑stress situations. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable, punctual, and committed to student success.
