Job Description
Position Summary:
The Beverage Runner & Barista supports both bar and dining room operations by preparing non-alcoholic beverages and delivering drinks to guests promptly and efficiently. This role helps maintain service flow by assisting bartenders and servers while ensuring beverages are prepared accurately and presented professionally. At the start of the shift, the primary role is to serve beverages prepared from the service bar to the guests. Once the bar slows down, a transition will be made to the service station to prepare and serve coffee/tea based on ticket orders.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare coffee, espresso beverages, tea, and other non-alcoholic drinks according to service standards. Deliver beverages from the bar to guests in the dining room. Maintain cleanliness and organization of coffee stations, bar areas, and service stations. Restock bar supplies, glassware, ice, and beverage ingredients as needed. Assist servers with beverage service. Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.Qualifications:
Previous café, barista, or hospitality experience preferred. Basic knowledge of espresso machines and coffee preparation is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment. Positive attitude and commitment to excellent guest service.Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to perform tasks commonly associated with hospitality and event operations. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary. Ability to climb stairs and safely use step stools or ladders. Ability to bend, reach, and move efficiently within a fast-paced service environment. Schedule Requirements Employees should expect to work evenings, weekends, and holidays , particularly during busy service periods and events. Work Environment Duties will take place both indoors and outdoors during restaurant hours and events.Pay:
