An extension of Catalyst Cares Adult Day Program, we provide structured behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment built on culturally sensitive, whole-person care. We are building our founding clinical team ahead of our June 2026 opening and are looking for dedicated professionals ready to grow with us. Position Overview The

BHT/RADT

plays a critical frontline role in the daily operations of our IOP. You will support clients through their treatment journey — facilitating groups, monitoring progress, maintaining documentation, and serving as a consistent, grounding presence in the program environment. This is a full-time position with room to grow as the program scales. Responsibilities Facilitate and co-facilitate psychoeducation groups, process groups, and life skills sessions under clinical supervision — you're not doing therapy but you're leading structured content and holding the room Monitor client behavior, attendance, participation, and overall presentation throughout the program day — in IOP you're watching for relapse signs, mood shifts, or anyone who may need a higher level of care Administer and process urine drug screens (UDS) at intake and randomly throughout treatment per program protocol Maintain accurate, real-time clinical documentation in the EHR — progress notes after each group, attendance logs, incident reports Assist with client intake and orientation — walking new clients through program expectations, consent forms, and the daily structure Serve as first point of contact when a client is in distress, providing immediate support and escalating to clinical staff as needed Communicate client status, behavioral observations, and concerns to the clinical team daily Support case management activities and coordination of care as needed Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic program environment throughout the program day Adhere to all DHCS regulations, program policies, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements Qualifications BHT certification or RADT credential required Minimum 1 year of experience in an IOP, RTC, detox, or substance use disorder treatment setting Strong understanding of addiction, recovery, and behavioral health principles Ability to maintain professional boundaries and therapeutic relationships Excellent documentation and communication skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required Must pass background check and drug screening

Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
