Bilingual 2nd Shift Inbound Production Lead

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive 2nd Shift Inbound Production Lead to oversee and coordinate inbound warehouse operations during the overnight shift. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials, while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive environment. As a leader on the 2nd shift, you will motivate and manage a team of warehouse associates, optimize processes, and uphold the highest standards of inventory control and safety compliance. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in warehouse distribution and logistics workflows, supporting our commitment to seamless supply chain operations. Duties Lead and supervise inbound warehouse activities during the 2nd shift, ensuring timely receipt and processing of shipments. Coordinate with shipping & receiving teams to verify inbound deliveries against purchase orders using warehouse management systems like AS400. Manage inventory control procedures, including cycle counts, stock adjustments, and discrepancy resolution to maintain accurate inventory levels. Oversee materials handling operations involving forklifts and heavy lifting equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in warehouse distribution, shipping, receiving, and overall workflow. Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA guidelines and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members. Collaborate with logistics partners and 3PL providers to streamline inbound logistics processes for e-commerce fulfillment and other distribution channels. Maintain detailed records of inbound shipments, inventory movements, and shift reports to support operational transparency. Provide team management by coaching staff, assigning tasks effectively, fostering teamwork, and addressing performance issues promptly. Experience Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision within a fast-paced distribution center environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms. Hands-on experience with forklift operation, materials handling equipment, and heavy lifting procedures. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software related to shipping & receiving processes. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards aligned with OSHA regulations. Background in process improvement initiatives within warehousing or distribution settings. Experience working in e-commerce fulfillment or 3PL (third-party logistics) environments is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance or troubleshooting is a plus.
