Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Bilingual Assistant Manager with sales experience to join our dynamic retail team. In this pivotal role, you will lead daily store operations, foster a welcoming environment for customers, and support the development of your team. Your bilingual skills will enable you to connect with a diverse customer base, ensuring exceptional service and driving sales growth. Duties Oversee store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling to ensure smooth daily functions. Lead, supervise, and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. Assist in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new staff to build a high-performing team. Manage employee schedules, shift assignments, and payroll processing to optimize store coverage and efficiency. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, pricing adjustments, and inventory tracking. Conduct regular inventory control checks, stock replenishment, and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels. Develop marketing strategies and promotional displays to attract customers and boost sales performance. Skills Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence customer decisions and close sales effectively. Excellent communication skills in both languages (bilingual proficiency required) to serve diverse clientele confidently. Proven experience in retail sales management, including supervising staff and managing store operations. Demonstrated leadership with a background in employee orientation, training & development, and team management. Skilled in inventory management, bookkeeping, cash handling, and retail math for accurate financial oversight. Familiarity with POS systems, purchasing procedures, merchandising standards, and pricing strategies. Ability to multitask efficiently with excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
