The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching students the theoretical and practical skills required by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology to successfully pass their state exams and enter the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach the cosmetology curriculum, including hair styling, cutting, coloring, chemical services, skin care, and nail care. Provide hands-on demonstrations and supervise student practice to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met. Prepare students for the California State Board written and practical examinations. Deliver lectures and instructions in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) to accommodate our diverse student body. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.

Qualifications:

License:

Must hold a current and valid California Cosmetology License (Required).

Language:

Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Required).

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in a salon environment. Prior teaching or instructing experience is a plus.
