Direct Hire Overview A well-established distribution and manufacturing company in Vernon is looking for a hands-on Bilingual HR Generalist to serve as a key operational HR resource across multiple locations. This is a highly autonomous role; you'll own HR functions end-to-end, drive initiatives, and serve as a strategic partner to HR leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruiting across departments, including operations, from job posting through offer letter Serve as the first-line HR contact for employee relations matters, workplace concerns, and investigations Administer performance management cycles Own HR compliance initiatives, policy updates, audit preparation, employment postings, and multi-state wage and hour requirements Maintain employee records and reporting through Paylocity HRIS Support payroll review and processing as needed Coordinate required training programs and track completion Occasional travel required for the role Ideal Candidate 3-5+ years of HR Generalist experience Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or logistics-based environment is highly preferred Bilingual in Spanish (fluent or highly proficient) required Proven ability to independently own HR functions with minimal oversight Strong background in employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance Working knowledge of California employment law, including Labor Code requirements and leave laws Hands-on experience with payroll processes and HRIS platforms Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple entities Bachelor's degree preferred; experience is valued over formal educationSimilar remote jobs
