Job Description

We are a full-service international logistics provider specializing in seamless end-to-end supply chain solutions. From U.S. Customs clearance to airline recovery and final-mile delivery, we bridge the gap between global suppliers and the American market. We are looking for a bilingual professional to support our growing Chinese-speaking client base.
Key Responsibilities:
A-Z Shipment Management:
Oversee shipments from arrival at port/airport to final destination delivery (Door-to-Door).
Customs & Compliance:
Coordinate with brokers for Air and Ocean customs clearance; handle documentation for ISF, entry, and release.
Coordination:
Arrange airline/terminal pickups and schedule land transportation for final-mile delivery.
Client Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for Chinese-speaking clients, providing real-time tracking updates and troubleshooting.
Vendor Liaison:
Communicate with airlines, steamship lines, and trucking partners to ensure timely cargo movement.
Skills & Qualifications Bilingual:
100% fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (Written and Verbal).
Experience:
1-3 years in
Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Cross-border E-commerce Knowledge:
Familiarity with Air/Ocean import processes, warehouse transfers, and "Last Mile" logistics.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with TMS/WMS software like CargoWise , GoFreight , Magaya , or similar logistics platforms. Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for managing large shipment manifests.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Deep understanding of Incoterms (e.g., DDP, DAP, EXW) and their impact on cost and responsibility. Familiarity with U.S. Customs entry types and documentation (e.g., ISF filings , 7501 forms).
Cross-Cultural Communication:
Ability to translate complex American logistics terminology into relatable concepts for Chinese-speaking business owners.
Time-Zone Management:
Resourcefulness to handle urgent communication with overseas agents in China (typically in the evening/night U.S. time).
Conflict Management:
Remaining calm under pressure when dealing with port congestion or airline delays.
Billing & Invoicing:
Manage freight invoicing and resolve billing discrepancies between carriers, vendors, and clients.
Dispute Resolution:
Handle insurance claims or OS&D (Over, Short, and Damaged) reports for cargo damaged during airline recovery or final-mile delivery.
Performance Monitoring:
Track and report on KPIs , such as pickup turnaround times and delivery success rates for "Last Mile" providers.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
