We currently have an immediate opening for a Part-Time Spanish-Speaking Medical Receptionist. Job DescriptionWe're looking for a compassionate and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team in Grand Prairie, United States. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent customer service will help ensure smooth operations and positive patient interactions throughout their visit.

Greet patients with a warm, professional demeanor and direct them through the check-in processAnswer and manage incoming phone calls, responding to inquiries and scheduling appointments with accuracy and courtesyUtilize electronic scheduling systems to book, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficientlyPerform accurate data entry and maintain organized patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulationsValidate and update patient personal and financial information with attention to detailVerify insurance benefits and coverage to ensure accurate billing and patient understandingProcess payments over the counter, handle cash transactions, and maintain financial recordsPrepare, file, and fax patient documents while maintaining strict confidentialityCollaborate with clinical and administrative team members to support seamless patient flowMultitask effectively during peak hours while maintaining composure and professionalismPerform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of the organizationQualificationsBilingual (Spanish)High school diploma or equivalent1+ years of experience in a medical front office environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong telephone etiquette and customer service skillsExperience with electronic health records (EHR) and medical software systems (preferred)Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality requirementsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentExceptional time management and organizational skillsMeticulous attention to detail with strong accuracy in data entryTeam player attitude with a collaborative and supportive approachFlexible, reliable, and adaptable to changing prioritiesProfessional demeanor with empathy and patience when interacting with patientsProblem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations with composureProficiency in cash handling and basic financial transactionsAdditional InformationGreen Oaks Physical Therapy values the well-being of our patients and our employees.
