Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Spanish-speaking Speech-Language Pathology Assistant working with students in grades K-6. This role is perfect for an experienced SLPA fluent in Spanish, ready to make a meaningful difference in a supportive school setting, serving a mild to moderate caseload.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLPA license required Full school year of prior experience as an SLPA in a school environment Bilingual-must speak and understand Spanish fluently Strong communication skills with students, families, and education teams Experience managing caseloads of approximately 55 students, focusing on mild to moderate needs
Responsibilities:
Support delivery of speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP Implement treatment plans tailored to meet each student's communication goals Maintain organized daily documentation for sessions and progress data Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and SLPs to foster student growth Provide bilingual communication for Spanish-speaking students and families Adapt strategies to accommodate a dynamic classroom setting across K-6 grades Monitor student progress and share insights with supervising SLP and educational staff
