Job Description

The bilingual Team Leader is responsible for ensuring proper inspection methods, verifying sort instructions, and training FCQS employees and associates. This role includes maintaining project oversight, conducting audits, and providing daily reports to the FCQS Field Supervisor. The Team Leader does not have disciplinary authority over inspectors and must promptly report all issues or concerns to the FCQS Supervisor. This is a working leadership role, meaning the Team Leader actively participates in inspection activities while overseeing team performance. The Team Leader is accountable for managing sort operations, ensuring all customer inspection requirements are met, and that all documentation is completed accurately and on time. This position requires regular travel with team members to various job sites, up to 120 miles. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Customer Satisfaction Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned sort activities Represent First Call Quality with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude and commitment to exceeding customer expectations and operational excellence Respond to customer requests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner Verify that FCQS inspectors are following all company protocols Ensure work instructions are created by the supervisor and properly implemented Confirm all inspectors are trained on work instructions and have signed off accordingly Train team members on approved work instructions and maintain an updated chronological log Ensure accuracy and completion of project sheets, tally sheets, and customer-required documentation Maintain the Project Book, documenting abnormalities and any changes to work instructions Ensure inspection team performs duties professionally while operating as guests at customer facilities Immediately report abnormalities or concerns to the Field Supervisor or Operations Manager Perform product audits to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance Associate Coaching and Development Provide ongoing performance feedback and support to team members Assist in training and development of inspectors to ensure quality and consistency Required Qualifications Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in both languages High School Diploma or GED required Experience with quality methods, inspection principles, and procedures Familiarity with inspection tools and gauge techniques Valid, non-expired driver's license with a favorable Motor Vehicle Record and active auto insurance Ability and willingness to travel with the team up to 120 miles as required Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Forklift certification Prior leadership or team lead experience in a quality or inspection environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Frequent bending, crouching, and twisting #Firstcall
