Billing Patient Coordinator

Orthopedic Health of Kansas City is in search of a Billing Patient Coordinator. OHKC is a private orthopedic surgery practice with three locations throughout the Kansas City area with approximately 160 employees. We have been a trusted provider of orthopedic care in the Kansas City region for more than 70 years. We are looking for team members with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) as well as a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Orthopedic surgical & office billing, ensuring that all phases of the medical billing process are completed in a timely manner Managing high-volume phone calls Follow up calls Balance inquiries Collection of payments

Qualifications and Skills:

Orthopedic coding experience preferred Previous experience with AdvancedMD billing software preferred. Knowledge of

ICD-10/HCPCS/CPT

Coding. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and surgical techniques a plus High school diploma required. Excellent attendance required.
