Billing/Payables Specialist

ACF Global Logistics is an industry leading logistics company with locations in Spring Arbor Ml, and Houston TX. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist . The ideal candidate will be a numbers-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong communication skills to coordinate with vendors and clients. Duties include, but not limited to: Accounts Payable (AP): Build loads, Review invoices from Carriers and post to correct loads. Maintain accurate records and ensure timely payments to take advantages of discounts Vendor set up Various other duties as needed Accounts Receivable (AR): Prepare and send out customer invoices and account statements. resolve billing issues and process credit memos. Successful candidate will have the following skill sets and attributes: Effective communication and organizational skills Ability to produce accurate work Self-driven and dependable Ability to multi-task Excellent problem-solving skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles Comprehensive understanding and experience with Microsoft Office. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
