• Polar Cutter & MBO Folder About the Role Westerleigh Press is hiring a skilled Finishing Operator to run and maintain Polar paper cutters and MBO folders .

We're looking for a detail-oriented professional with at least 5 years of experience in a commercial print or finishing environment. If you're comfortable setting up and operating both machines and are committed to producing high-quality work, we'd love to hear from you! What You'll Do

• Bindery Finishing Operator
• Polar Cutter & MBO Folder Set up and program Polar cutters accurately for each job Operate and adjust MBO folders , including fold plates, slitting knives, scoring, and perforating tools Understand and execute various layouts: gangs, crossovers, and signature impositions Maintain accurate counts and stack/pack jobs correctly for downstream finishing Operate or assist with multiple machines when needed Perform routine maintenance on all assigned equipment Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Use good communication skills to collaborate with team members Qualifications•Bindery Finishing Operator•Polar Cutter & MBO Folder 5+ years of hands-on experience with Polar cutters and MBO folders (required) Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues Excellent math skills and attention to detail Able to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with glue systems (fugitive/permanent) is a plus Physical Requirements•Bindery Finishing Operator•Polar Cutter & MBO Folder Ability to stand 8-12 hours during shift Regularly lift and move 25-50 lbs Frequent bending, twisting, and movement while operating equipment
