Prior bindery experience required. Applicants should be able and willing to do the following: Must have experience buckle folding machines, guillotine cutters, and saddle-stitching machines. Familiar with the mechanical parts of these machines in order to set them up and troubleshoot any issues. Ability to learn an adapt to new equipment. Ability to configure, troubleshoot, operate, and maintain machinery with independence and minimal additional help. Knowledgeable in typing and with computers (shipping software.) Ability to form boxes and package materials for shipment. Able to print shipping labels, packing slips, and apply them accordingly. Capability of lifting >35+ lbs. when necessary. Working while standing for extended periods of time. Working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multi-task and consistently monitor operations. Ability communicate clearly with the Production Managers on job status/updates. Ability to work with others, engage productivity, and contribute to a positive work setting.
