Job Description

Our organization is driven by impact - delivering unique solutions for the world's important challenges and transforming ideas into reality for clients and partners SRI's Center for Health Sciences is seeking a highly motivated research associate (RA) to support the NIH-sponsored Adolescent Brain and Cognitive Development (ABCD) study. The RA will get training and hands-on experience with neuroscience and applied and developmental psychological measures. Responsibilities Collecting multiple types of data from participants (adolescents, adults) MRI scan Administering computerized neuropsychological tests Participant interviews Collecting biosamples Managing participant records Tracking progress of studies Entering data into a database Adhering to deadlines set by the investigator Comply with governmental regulations and SRI policies regarding health and safety issues Function independently to safely operate sophisticated MRI equipment Qualifications BA/BS in psychology, neuroscience, physiology, or a related field Good organizational skills and experience in implementing complex and multiple tasks Ability to work well with people, including children and adolescents, to elicit best efforts in testing Experience with computer-driven devices Ability to keep a tight schedule, follow through with attention to detail, and to work variable hours, including weekends Team player New Grads are encouraged to apply Preferred Skills Experience of principles of sound research design and data collection Experience collecting data such as neuropsychological tests from adolescents The salary range is: $70,304. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
