East Berlin, CT Job Details Full-time $60,000 - $95,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Qualifications Teamwork Tooling design Plastics blow molding Attention to detail Manufacturing Full Job Description Blow Mold Designer/Engineer Build a Career in Extrusion Blow Mold Design We are seeking either: an experienced Blow Mold Designer/Engineer, or a highly motivated early-career candidate looking to build deep expertise in extrusion blow molding and tooling design. This role is an opportunity to work directly on complex production tooling used in real-world manufacturing environments. You will collaborate with experienced mold designers, machinists, and manufacturing teams to develop high-performance extrusion blow molds for a wide variety of applications. We are looking for someone who wants to grow into a true industry expert. What You'll Do Design extrusion blow molds and related tooling Create manufacturing and inspection drawings Modify bottle geometry for blow mold cavity development Develop complex solid and surface models in CAD Support tooling improvements, revisions, and production troubleshooting Work within a managed CAD/PDM environment Coordinate projects with engineering, manufacturing, and customers Participate in design reviews and problem-solving discussions What We're Looking For Experienced Candidates Experience designing blow molds, tooling, or complex mechanical assemblies Strong understanding of manufacturing methods and machining processes Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD platforms Ability to manage projects and communicate across teams Developing / Early-Career Candidates We are also open to motivated candidates with less direct experience who demonstrate: Strong mechanical aptitude Curiosity and willingness to learn Interest in manufacturing and tooling Strong work ethic and attention to detail Desire to grow into a technical expert Training and mentorship will be provided for the right candidate.
