Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality behavioral therapy and support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of those they serve. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles. Conduct patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine the needs of clients. Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly. Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and intake forms, in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide patient care that promotes independence and enhances quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with healthcare professionals and documenting patient interactions. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health. Qualifications Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst certification is required. Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities, is preferred. Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis methodologies. Proficient in data collection methods relevant to patient assessment and treatment evaluation. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work compassionately and patiently with individuals who have varying levels of ability and need for support. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
