Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract If you're an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) passionate about supporting students with behavioral needs, this contract opportunity near Norristown, PA, and the surrounding areas may be an excellent fit. This full-time assignment begins August 2026, with the possibility of an early orientation in July to give you a smooth start. In this role, you'll work on a campus serving 14 students who exhibit physical aggression, elopement, and self-injurious behaviors. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising RBTs, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans, and creating visuals for staff training. A commitment to being onsite at least four days each week (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-3:00 pm) is required to provide consistent support to both students and team members.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Active BCBA certification required Experience working in school-based or similar settings, supporting challenging behaviors Familiarity with supervising RBTs and conducting FBAs Proficient in designing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans and training staff Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with educators, support staff, and families Candidates with LBS credentials are welcome for consideration
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and guide Registered Behavior Technicians Perform FBAs and document findings accurately Design, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans Develop visual aids and training materials for staff Take part in ongoing communication with multidisciplinary teams Attend and provide input during student planning and support meetings This contract role offers competitive hourly compensation of $52.50-$57.50.
