Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Responsibilities:

• Development of individualized treatment plans for individuals diagnosed with autism.
• Development of programming and services based on the principles of ABA, including behavior intervention plans, social skills, functional communication training, and daily living skills.
• Conducting functional behavior assessments and skill assessments.
• Program and support implementation of services provided across various settings including the natural context of center-based, one-on-one, and community settings.
• Supervisions of RBTs and ABA therapists, on assigned caseload, to ensure fidelity and consistency in programming implementation and data collection.
• Conduct biweekly parent training sessions
• Hold weekly RBT and ABA therapist team meetings and attend weekly interdisciplinary meetings
• Provided 1-on-1 support and training as needed
• BCBA will report directly to the

Clinical Director Requirements:

• BCBA certification
• LBA in Connecticut
• Masters Degree in a related field
• Strength in the application of ABA techniques
• Strong communication with parents and staff in explaining ABA techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dedicated, with solid time management skills
• Pays close attention to detail and is punctual
• A natural leader with the ability to think outside of the box
• Experience working within the home setting / public school setting: 2 years
