Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) providing expert support to school professionals and students. This part-time contract position offers the opportunity to utilize your specialized skills, working two days per week (14 hours) during the 2026-2027 school year—from August 3, 2026, to May 26, 2027. You will collaborate with educators and staff, particularly supporting and supervising special education teachers seeking emergency certification to conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs). Your expertise will be invaluable for supplemental behavioral support, conducting observations, completing FBAs, and developing or reviewing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as time allows.
Key Qualifications:
Valid BCBA certification required Prior experience in school-based or pediatric behavioral analysis settings strongly preferred Familiarity with FBAs, BIPs, and the supervision of educators or paraprofessionals Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently
Core Responsibilities:
Provide part-time behavioral support and consultation for school staff and students Supervise special education teachers obtaining emergency certification for FBAs Conduct classroom and student observations as needed Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans Offer guidance and training to staff regarding behavioral interventions and best practices Perform all duties within the limited grant-funded time allocation This opportunity is perfect for a BCBA seeking a flexible, impactful role.
