- Role Overview
- As a School-Based BCBA at CAS, you'll serve as a key clinical partner to students, educators, and school teams.
- What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Utilize a range of assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, SSIS) to identify strengths and learning needs
- Collect, analyze, and apply behavioral data to guide decision-making and monitor progress
- Ensure fidelity of implementation through ongoing data review and program adjustments
- Coach and model evidence-based behavioral strategies for teachers, instructional assistants, and support staff
- Provide supervision and support to ABA Instructors, RBTs, and Behavior Technicians in school settings
- Collaborate with special education teams, administrators, and families to support generalization and long-term success
- Serve as a consultant to IEP teams, contributing to student-centered behavioral programming
- Deliver professional development sessions, workshops, and classroom-based trainings
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation aligned with district and regulatory standards
- Implement proactive behavior support and crisis prevention strategies
- Provide in-the-moment guidance and debriefing during behavioral escalation

- Qualifications
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
- Current BCBA certification in good standing
- Minimum of
- 2+ years of experience
- providing ABA services in school-based or educational settings
- Experience conducting FBAs, writing BIPs, and supervising clinical staff
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with school personnel and families
- Commitment to ethical, compassionate, student-centered care
