Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a difference in the lives of middle school students during the 2026/2027 academic year! The Springfield Empowerment Zone is searching for an engaging and skilled BCBA to provide both direct and consultative services within the LINKS Autism Program, which spans five middle school campuses. This is a full time, onsite contract position, running from August 2026 through June 2027. You will have the chance to collaborate closely with school teams, empower educators by sharing evidence-based practices, and use your expertise to support students' behavioral and academic goals. The ideal applicant is organized, an effective communicator, and values a collaborative environment focused on student growth.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification/license School-based experience, especially supporting students with autism Strong background in data collection and monitoring student progress Effective team player with strong time management and organizational skills Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required Ability to pass a drug screen and fingerprint/background (CORI) check
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver both direct and consultative BCBA services to middle school students in the LINKS Autism Program Guide educators in implementing and refining evidence-based interventions Develop, track, and regularly report on individualized student goals Lead and participate in team meetings, sharing your expertise across multiple campuses Ensure prompt and open communication regarding scheduling or absences Envision supporting an innovative program where your skills and input truly matter.
