Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Located in Woodside, DE, this contract opportunity is ideal for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) eager to support students with severe disabilities and autism, ranging in age from 2 to 22 years. This school-based role is designed for professionals who are passionate about making a meaningful impact through evidence-based behavioral interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate actively in crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts as part of the crisis team
  • Conduct thorough Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to understand student needs
  • Develop effective Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) tailored to individual students
  • Collaborate with educational teams to establish behavior goals for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Support consistent and accurate data collection to monitor progress
  • Provide ongoing behavioral support and guidance to both school staff and students
Qualifications:
  • Must hold active Delaware BCBA licensure or certification
  • Experience working with children and young adults with severe disabilities and autism preferred
