Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bobst Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for a quality product properly printed, embossed or foil stamped according to customer specifications in a safe and proper manner, for the set-up and operation of the Bobst Machine in an orderly, accurate and efficient manner. The operator will assist in training and interaction of crews, confer with the pre-press department regarding conditions of supplies, and check ink color to meet customer specifications. Duties Set up, load, and operate an embossing and foil stamping machine Review work order, dies, and specifications, to determine components, settings, and adjustments for cutting machine. Examine finished products to ensure the finalized sample meets job order requirements. Adjust machine controls to position and align as needed. Select and install machine tooling components, such as dies and templates. Closely observe operation of machine to detect malfunctions. Clean and lubricate machines to maintain equipment in working order. Other duties, as assigned.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience operating Bobst equipment preferred. Ability to read and interpret job bags and production specifications. Strong attention to detail and quality control skills. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. Team-oriented with strong communication skills and a commitment to safety. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs or more repeatedly throughout the shift. Frequent bending, twisting, and standing for the entire shift. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Training:
Training may be conducted at the Berryville location for up to six months or longer, as needed.
