In this vital role, you will assess vehicle damage, prepare detailed repair estimates, and coordinate with technicians to ensure repairs meet quality standards. Your mechanical knowledge and dealership experience will help deliver top-tier service, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient workflow. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a fast-paced automotive environment dedicated to excellence. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to accurately assess repair needs, including auto body repair, mechanical issues, and cosmetic damages. Prepare detailed and transparent repair estimates using auto estimating software, clearly outlining parts, labor, and additional services. (CCC, ROME or Mitchell) Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair options, costs, and timelines while providing exceptional customer service. Collaborate with technicians and managers to prioritize repairs, schedule work, and ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs. Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, and other automotive diagnostics. Handle cash and Credit Card transactions accurately and process invoices efficiently while maintaining proper documentation. Assist in managing parts ordering and liaising with insurance companies to facilitate smooth claims processing. Ensure compliance with safety, manufacturer, and shop policies. Skills Proven Body Shop Estimator experience with a strong background in auto service management and auto estimating. Hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Demonstrated ability in auto body repair estimation and service writing with attention to detail. Strong sales aptitude with a focus on upselling complementary services such as tire service or oil changes. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer and software proficiency.
