Full-Time (Part-Time Considered) Overview We are seeking an experienced Groundskeeper / Horticulturist to maintain and enhance a 10‑acre private property featuring formal gardens, orchards, and landscaped grounds . This is a hands-on role suited for someone with strong horticultural knowledge who takes pride in detailed landscape and plant care. Property Details 10-acre estate Formal gardens and planting beds Orchards 6 acres of grass maintained by robotic mowers (minimal mowing required) Responsibilities Maintain and care for formal gardens, planting beds, and orchards Trim and shape shrubs, hedges, and ornamental plantings Perform planting, transplanting, and seasonal garden work Monitor plant health, soil conditions, and irrigation needs General grounds upkeep and debris removal Maintain a clean, well-presented property year-round Work independently while meeting high landscape standards Qualifications Horticultural experience or education required Experience with formal gardens, estates, or high-end landscaping preferred Knowledge of proper pruning, planting, and seasonal care Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Compensation Salary negotiable and commensurate with experience Position Details Full-time preferred Part-time will be considered for the right candidate How to
