Del Monte Foods in Plover, Wisconsin is hiring Seasonal Boiler Room Relief Operators to support boiler room operations, utility monitoring, equipment inspections, sanitation, and operational support activities during pack season operations. Employees in these positions assist with monitoring boiler systems, maintaining utility operations, recording equipment readings, and supporting boiler room cleanliness and safe operation throughout the facility. Accountabilities:

Seasonal Boiler Room Relief Operators perform entry-level utility, boiler room, equipment monitoring, sanitation, and operational support duties in a food manufacturing environment. Employees in these positions assist Boiler Operators and Utility leadership with monitoring equipment conditions, maintaining operational support activities, recording equipment readings, supporting preventive maintenance activities, and helping ensure safe and efficient boiler room operations. This role is intended to provide operational support and relief coverage within the utility department and does not perform duties at the full Boiler Operator or Crew Leader level. Employees may support boiler room operations during production, pre-pack, post-pack, and off-shift operational periods. Key Responsibilities Assist with monitoring boiler room equipment, steam systems, pumps, valves, water levels, gauges, and related utility systems Record and document equipment readings, operating conditions, and boiler log information Support Boiler Operators and Utility leadership with operational monitoring and utility department activities Assist with routine inspections of boilers and related utility equipment Support housekeeping, sanitation, and organization within boiler room and utility areas Assist with preventive maintenance activities, operational cleanup, or minor repair support as assigned Monitor work areas for unsafe conditions, leaks, equipment concerns, or operational deficiencies and report issues to leadership Follow GMP, food safety, lockout/tagout, confined space, and workplace safety requirements Assist with operational coverage and support activities during staffing shortages or production demands Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, equipment, and utility spaces Support cross-functional operational activities as assigned within the utility department. Seasonal Incentives To support employees during our peak pack season, Del Monte Foods offers select incentives for eligible seasonal workers. These incentives are designed to assist with temporary relocation and seasonal work demands and may include: Housing assistance or housing incentives Transportation allowance Sanitation Bonus (for eligible employees) These incentives are available only during the active pack season (typically June through early October) and are subject to eligibility requirements, availability, and business needs. Minimum Skills Required:

Ability to safely work in a fast-paced manufacturing and utility environment Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately Ability to maintain productivity and attention to detail during extended shifts Ability to read gauges, charts, digital displays, or equipment readings accurately Ability to maintain accurate written documentation and boiler logs Ability to safely work around boilers, steam systems, pumps, valves, industrial equipment, and hot surfaces Ability to work independently with limited supervision Ability to walk, stand, bend, climb stairs/ladders, and maneuver around uneven surfaces throughout assigned shifts Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment as required Reliable attendance and dependability throughout the seasonal production period Previous manufacturing, boiler room, utility, maintenance, sanitation, or industrial experience Basic knowledge of steam systems, pumps, valves, water systems, or industrial equipment Experience working around boilers, utility systems, or mechanical equipment Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Experience with lockout/tagout or confined space procedures Basic computer or documentation experience Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification is a plus CPR, First Aid, or AED certification is a plus Bilingual communication skills are a plus An equivalent combination of education, manufacturing experience, warehouse operations, military service, staffing coordination, employee leadership, administrative support, or related operational experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position may be considered. •Please note: This position does not qualify for relocation expenses.•Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is a global leader in the production, distribution, and marketing of fresh and fresh cut fruits and vegetables.
