Boiler Technician

Boiler Specialist Central Maine Area We are recruiting on behalf of a stable, well established industrial employer in Central Maine seeking an experienced Boiler Specialist to support safe, efficient plant operations. This is a full time, year round role on a weekday day shift with strong compensation, excellent benefits, and long term stability. This position is responsible for operating and overseeing high pressure boiler systems that support continuous manufacturing operations. The role includes supervision of boiler operators, preventative maintenance activities, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Pay Up to $90,000 per year, depending on experience Full benefits package Schedule Full time, non exempt Monday through Friday, day shift On call rotation required Responsibilities Monitor and control high pressure boilers and auxiliary systems to ensure safe, reliable operation Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company safety and operating requirements Perform water chemistry testing, inspections, and preventative maintenance Lead daily safety and operations meetings Supervise, schedule, and support boiler operators Ensure required training and licensing are maintained Identify and address equipment issues to minimize downtime Enforce safety procedures including lockout tagout Operate heavy equipment as needed to support facility operations Maintain accurate logs and operational records Equipment and Safety Operate industrial equipment according to site specific procedures Use required guards, safety devices, and personal protective equipment Follow lockout tagout procedures at all times Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications Minimum one year experience operating solid fuel or wood fired boilers At least one year of industrial or military boiler experience Active State of Maine High Pressure Boiler License, minimum 4th Class Engineer required Control room experience preferred Strong technical knowledge of boiler systems and safety practices Dependable with a strong work ethic Effective communication and problem solving skills

Pay:

$79,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
