Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a team based in Turnersville, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is confident managing core accounting activities, maintaining accurate records, and keeping transactions organized in QuickBooks. The person in this role will help ensure timely processing of payables and receivables while performing reconciliations that support reliable financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records by entering, reviewing, and organizing daily bookkeeping transactions in QuickBooks.
  • Process vendor invoices, schedule payments, and monitor accounts payable activity to help ensure obligations are handled on time.
  • Prepare customer billing, record incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances related to accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and internal records regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Review financial data for accuracy and completeness, making corrections when needed to support dependable reporting.
  • Assist with month-end bookkeeping activities by organizing documentation and ensuring account records are up to date.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and external contacts regarding payment status, account questions, and transaction details.
