Job Description
Overview Great opportunity in a growing company for a Bookkeeper / HR Generalist. In this job, you'll play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting human resources functions. Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries using QuickBooks Prepare and review journal entries, financial reports, and financial statements with precision and clarity Oversee payroll processing via ADP, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments while maintaining compliance with tax regulations and payroll laws Support HR functions by assisting with employee onboarding, record maintenance, benefits administration, and policy implementation Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information while managing HR documentation and records Conduct regular account reconciliations including bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts to ensure consistency across all records Assist COO with administrative and office management duties Skills Experience working in QuickBooks accounting software and ADP payroll, preferred Understanding of certain accounting principles Experience with financial concepts like budgeting, financial report creation, account reconciliation, and account analysis Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately Familiarity with payroll systems and tax experience related to employee compensation and benefits Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation tasks General proficiency with MS Excel, Outlook, and AI prompting tools Organizational excellence and the ability to meet deadlines The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in all duties This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in both accounting and human resources within a supportive environment that values your contributions.
