Competitive, based on experience Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper / Office Manager to manage day-to-day financial and administrative operations. The ideal candidate has strong experience with QuickBooks , is comfortable working with multiple software systems (including Oracle ), and can operate independently while supporting overall office needs. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable Process invoices, payments, reimbursements, and expense reports Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month-end closing Utilize accounting and office software such as QuickBooks , Oracle , and other related systems Support payroll processing and benefits administration as needed Manage general office operations, including scheduling, filing, and record keeping Serve as a point of contact for vendors, accountants, and internal staff Ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting standards Qualifications Proven experience as a bookkeeper, office manager, or similar role Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (required) Experience with Oracle or similar ERP/accounting systems (preferred) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other office software Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Excellent communication and professionalism Preferred Experience Previous experience in a small business or hybrid administrative role Familiarity with payroll systems and basic HR support Part-time or flexible schedule experience What We Offer Flexible part-time schedule Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on daily operations Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookfield, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
