Provides administrative and financial support to the business office through the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, student activity operations, reporting, and other district business functions. Supports efficient office operations and compliance with district policies and procedures Reports to: Assistant Superintendent for Finance/CSBOEmployee Status:
Educational Support Professional - Bookkeeper ESP Bargaining Union - Tier S4Calendar:
Twelve-Month Employee, Part-time 20 hours per weekQualifications:
Education and experience equivalent to high school graduationProfessional/Personal Characteristics:
? Previous experience in an educational setting preferred ? Excellent organizational skills and time management skills ? Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently under varying deadlines ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills ? Ability to identify sensitive information and maintain confidentiality ? Strong attention to detail and accuracy ? Experience with accounting or bookkeeping preferred ? Familiarity with school finance or activity funds a plus ? Proficiency in spreadsheets and financial software (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets, Skyward, etc.)Job Responsibilities:
? Demonstrates a positive attitude, takes initiative, adapts well to change, works efficiently with minimal supervision, and exercises sound judgment and responsibility ? Support business office operations including student activity deposits, cashbox management, accounts payable assistance, purchase orders, reimbursements, and financial reporting support ? Assists with account analysis, audits, sales tax reporting, and annual unclaimed property processing ? Coordinates administrative functions including meeting scheduling, records retention, certificates of insurance, mail processing, retiree sheets, and website/BoardBook updates ? Manages district vehicle oversight and webstore setup and maintenance ? Performs other business office duties as assignedApplication Process:
