Bookkeeper (PT)

We are currently seeking a PT Bookkeeper to join our Front Office Team! An ideal candidate will have availability early morning during the week and weekends for this position. The primary purpose of the Bookkeeper on our Front End at Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace is to ensure the record and maintenance of financial records at the store level. This position requires a thorough understanding of A/P, A/R, experience sorting, coding and scanning a multitude of physical and/or digital invoices for vendors and accounts. Responsibilities Observe all store rules and company policies; Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service or assistance; Responsible for entering schedules into our customized system Responsible for daily safe counts Receive, break down and deliver funds by armored carrier; Responsible for gathering all information on payroll and updating our customized system Responsible for all bookkeeping opening/closing procedures Ensure daily cash packages are sent timely to the office Counts paper currency, change, and credit card receipts and totals against print outs for accuracy Prepare deposit slips Monitors and investigates discrepancies or errors Manage and reconcile the petty cash funds as well as cash funds as well as gas receipts for fleet card Other duties and functions as assigned Qualifications HS Diploma or equivalent Prior experience working in bookkeeping is a plus Detail oriented, problem solver, excellent time management skills and a positive attitude Proficient with MS Office Suite and other related software and programs as it relates to the position Our PT and FT positions come with medical, dental, vision, Life Insurance, PTO, 401(K), 50% off lunch, 25% off in store shopping and more!
