Job Description
Office Manager / Bookkeeper Hospitality + Construction + Community Development Highland Lake Cove & Treska's on the Water - Flat Rock / Hendersonville, NC We are seeking an experienced, grounded, adaptable Office Manager / Bookkeeper to help steward a growing regenerative hospitality and community development project in the mountains near Hendersonville and Flat Rock, North Carolina. This is not a typical bookkeeping position.
Our organization currently includes:
Treska's on the Water café and events venue Hospitality and retreat operations Land and cottage development Construction and property improvement projects An emerging long-term vision centered around intentional community, meaningful work, and intergenerational collaboration. We are looking for someone who enjoys both structure and people — someone capable of handling detailed financial systems while also participating in the human side of a community-oriented workplace. The Role This position includes traditional office management and bookkeeping responsibilities across multiple interconnected business activities, including hospitality and construction-related operations.Responsibilities may include:
bookkeeping and financial reporting accounts payable / receivable payroll coordination vendor communication organizational systems project tracking document management administrative support printed materials and operational coordination helping improve internal systems as the organization grows. Because we are still in an early-stage growth phase, flexibility and collaborative spirit are important. Our office team also serves as part of the larger hospitality ecosystem.At times this may include:
helping support guest experiences occasional hosting responsibilities or serving as backup support for the café and front desk operations. An office assistant connected to this role may also wear a second hat as a cashier or hospitality support person.
