Box Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. We are a small trucking company and slowly growing. We have a dedicated lane during the day throughout the week, and also work with amazon relay at night. Candidate must be flexible depending on the companies needs throughout the week. This is a 1099 position, so no taxes are taken out. Health insurance is also not provided at the moment but will be in the future. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires proficiency in driving different types of vehicles, including 26ft box trucks, and the ability to handle loading and unloading tasks. Drivers are home daily and must be flexible Pay is paid at a flat rate each day, not hourly, and paid out weekly. Daily rate ranges from $140 to $160 a day. Duties Operate 26ft box trucks to deliver goods to customers in a timely manner. Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks. Ensure all deliveries are completed with a focus on safety and compliance with traffic regulations. Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the transportation industry preferred, but not required. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients. Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures, including the use of pallet jacks. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina, capable of lifting heavy loads when necessary.
