- 54739 Position Summary Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, located in Elk Mound, is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Branch Manager.
In this hands-on position, you will report to the General Manager to provide senior oversight of a company affiliate to ensure profitable business operations. This is a full-time, exempt position with a comprehensive benefits package in a casual office environment. Essential Functions Effectively manages and provides senior-level oversight of resources (time, people, and money) to ensure profitable business operations. Liaising with branch leaders to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals. Manages financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating trends and business volumes; aligns business resources to achieve company goals, and measures and analyzes business results. Delivers quality and timely solutions for customers. Develops goals and achieves positive business results. Knows the company's products and services, understands the competitive landscape, and leverages the company's strengths to obtain new business and maintain existing business. Builds & maintains effective teams and relationships with others. Consistently seeks to hire and retain top talent. Develops others and recognizes employee contributions. Effectively communicates up, down, and across the organization. Embraces and champions change. Holds employees accountable to adhering to company policies and procedures. Conducts interactions with others (both internally and externally) with honesty and integrity, acts a role model for ethical conduct, and takes actions that are consistent with the company's values. Consistently and effectively adheres to, understands, and applies company policies and procedures. Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions. Reviews, analyzes, and prepares reports, records, and directives on business operations, customers, and financial records. Organizes resources to ensure effective services. Gives work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work. Evaluates current procedures and practices for accomplishing company objectives, to develop and implement improved procedures and practices. Ensures adequate training of staff and employee compliance to organization's policies and practices. Coordinates activities of departments to ensure efficiency and economy. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy branch environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns. Monitors and analyzes costs and prepares budgets. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience Requirements Must have intermediate
- advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word.
Ability to learn ERP system, NexGen. Experience with heavy construction equipment is required. Able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines. Able to sit for longs periods of time.
