Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, and other specialty dishes with precision and flair Follow established recipes and menu guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in every plate served Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation throughout all food handling and preparation processes Assist in menu planning by suggesting new breakfast options that align with guest preferences and dietary needs Manage food inventory levels, properly store ingredients, and report shortages or issues promptly Ensure timely service by coordinating with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to meet guest expectations Uphold professional kitchen standards by practicing proper knife skills, food handling techniques, and efficient meal preparation methods Experience Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly desirable, especially within healthcare or institutional settings Proven culinary experience in fine dining or restaurant environments demonstrating excellent food preparation skills Strong background in food service operations, including catering, meal prep, and food industry best practices Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to prevent contamination Experience with menu planning, food presentation, and serving a diverse range of breakfast dishes Skilled in using kitchen equipment safely and effectively while maintaining a clean workspace Knowledge of knife skills, cooking techniques, and food industry standards to deliver high-quality meals consistently
