Job Description
Overview We are seeking an energetic Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious breakfast dishes that delight our guests and set the tone for their day. Your culinary expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to food safety will ensure a high-quality dining experience every morning. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a fast-paced, friendly environment where teamwork and creativity are celebrated. Responsibilities Prep and prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items with precision, consistency, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards. Follow established recipes and menu plans while also contributing ideas for new breakfast offerings. Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients efficiently and safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Adhere strictly to food safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and allergen awareness. Assist in plating and presentation of breakfast dishes to ensure visual appeal. Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple orders simultaneously with a positive attitude. Requirements Experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within the food industry or restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods such as frying, grilling, baking, and sautéing. Ability to work early mornings with flexibility to support breakfast service hours. Strong teamwork skills with a focus on communication and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Must have weekend availability
