BREWERY FACILITIES TEAM MEMBER

New Glarus Brewing Company is hiring a full-time, onsite Brewery Facilities Team Member to join our growing team. We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and mechanically minded individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This position supports agricultural operations, grounds systems, facilities projects, and sustainability initiatives across brewery locations while helping maintain our properties, equipment, and operational systems to the highest standard. Responsibilities include leading ag-related operations involving hops, apples, grapes, and related projects; coordinating contractors responsible for irrigation, mowing, lawn care, snow removal, and other site services; operating and maintaining grounds-related equipment and systems across all locations; troubleshooting equipment and operational systems alongside brewers, automation team members, engineers, vendors, and contractors; supporting new grounds and facilities installations; participating in CAPEX initiatives including planning, procurement, implementation, and operation; leading waste management and recycling activities across all locations; participating in sustainability improvement efforts; maintaining compliance with applicable state, county, and local regulations; interfacing with control systems and databases; and performing computer data entry and other duties as assigned. Qualified candidates should have experience in agricultural operations, grounds operations and maintenance, facilities management, industrial operations, utilities, wastewater systems, or related fields. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also working independently and making confident decisions, basic mechanical aptitude, strong troubleshooting ability, strong attention to detail, and pride in producing quality work. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, comfortable working outdoors and with their hands, and capable of reading and interpreting equipment manuals, mechanical prints, electrical prints, P&IDs, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Applicants must also be able to safely lift and handle 50-pound pails and bags as needed. General work hours are Monday-Friday, 1st shift, with flexibility as needed to support brewery operations.
