Brick Mason

Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring experienced Brick Masons for a project in Macedonia starting immediately. Qualified candidates will have no less than 4+ years' experience laying brick and block. OSHA 10 preferred but not required. Must have PPE and basic hand tools. Brick Mason Qualifications Minimum of 4 years commercial experience Able to read and interpret construction plans Must be able work from scaffolding Must have basic hand tools and PPE Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check OSHA 10 preferred but not required Must have valid license and reliable transportation Brick Mason Job Scope Lay out foundations and patterns using measuring tools such as straightedges and rules Verify the vertical and horizontal elevation of a structure using levels and plumb bob Mix specific amount of sand, cement, lime, and water to form mortar or refractory mixture Spread mortar on slabs and surfaces to fuse bricks, tiles or blocks together Use hammer, power saw or edge of trowels to break or cut blocks to desired sizes Conduct repairs on walls, partitions, and columns to remove defective blocks and replace with solid ones Use trowels and other hand tools to remove or apply mortar over work surface Brick Mason Compensation/Benefits $28-$32/hr BOE 40-hours M-F Weekly direct deposit PTO/holidays Medical/dental Long-term work if you prove to be productive and reliable.
