Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Brokerage Associate_ Entry Writer to join our logistics and supply chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing freight documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the seamless flow of customs operations. Your proactive approach will help optimize risk management, regulatory reporting, and fleet management processes, contributing to the efficiency and safety of our supply chain operations. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in transportation management while supporting critical compliance initiatives. Duties Prepare and review brokerage entry documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations and other regulatory standards. Coordinate with carriers, freight providers, and internal teams to facilitate timely shipment processing. Maintain comprehensive records of freight movements, regulatory reports, and compliance documentation. Assist in risk management activities by identifying potential transportation or supply chain issues and proposing solutions. Contribute to fleet management efforts by tracking shipment statuses and coordinating vehicle utilization. Write detailed reports on transportation activities, incident occurrences, and compliance audits to support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Knowledge of Customs Brokerage filing and reporting and Customs best practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with supply chain operations, freight handling, and transportation management systems. Understanding of customs regulations relevant to T11 and T01 is a plus. Customs license holder or plan to obtain a license within one year of service is a plus. Experience with regulatory reporting processes and risk management strategies. Ability to coordinate logistics activities efficiently while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. $52,632.95 - $65,977.32 per year
