Join a growing precision heat treating company supporting aerospace and other high-reliability industries. The work requires strict process control, accurate documentation, and close coordination between customers and the shop floor to meet demanding technical and quality requirements.

ONSITE - DETROIT, MICHIGAN, USA US Person status compliant with ITAR regulations required Behind every successful production schedule is someone keeping the details organized. We're hiring an Administrative Coordinator to help manage the flow of customer orders, documentation, and shop instructions. This role supports quoting, contract review, planning, and quality documentation to ensure work orders are accurate before they reach the shop floor. Pay range is $20-$25/hour DOE. This is a full-time position requiring in-person presence.

- Vision insurance The Administrative Coordinator works closely with the General Manager and supports quoting, contract review, order documentation, and communication between customers and the production team. The right person will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with technical documentation in a manufacturing environment. What You'll Do
- Receive and process requests for quotes and customer orders
- Review customer documents, drawings, and specifications to confirm scope of work
- Support contract review and ensure required documentation is complete
- Coordinate information needed to release work orders to the shop floor
- Provide updates to customers and internal teams regarding order status
- Prepare work order certifications and required documentation
- Generate reports from ERP systems
- Assist with quality documentation and verification of requirements
- Capture photographs of hardware as needed for documentation
- Support additional shop and administrative activities as directed by the General Manager What Helps Someone Succeed in This Role
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with technical documents and engineering drawings
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and ERP systems
- Ability to work effectively with both office staff and shop personnel Helpful Experience (Not Required)
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Coursework or experience in engineering, quality, or business administration Minimum Requirements
