Position Summary The Premium Collections Specialist supports timely premium recovery by monitoring delinquent accounts, coordinating collection activities, and providing exceptional customer service. This role works closely with internal departments to resolve billing issues and maintain accurate collection records. Duties & Responsibilities Monitor and follow up on delinquent group and individual accounts. Generate and review aging and collection reports. Communicate with customers regarding overdue balances and payment arrangements. Document collection activity and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with Billing, Enrollment, and other departments to resolve account issues. Respond to billing and collections inquiries. Support billing and collections operations as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Three (3) years of billing and customer service experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Ten-key by touch proficiency. Ability to perform basic math calculations and manage account balances accurately. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree. Knowledge of basic accounting principles. Experience with premium billing, collections, or healthcare-related financial processes.
