The ideal candidate will have strong Collections Experience and a strong work ethic. The Collections Specialist role is an onsite position. This is a client direct hire position.

Collections Specialist Key Responsibilities:

Oversee a portfolio of customer accounts to maintain accurate records. Drive collection activities to secure payments on assigned accounts. Track and analyze account statuses and generate reports on collections. Initiate outbound calls to recover payments and clarify billing concerns. Address customer questions and issues with professionalism and timeliness. Troubleshoot and resolve invoicing discrepancies while ensuring customer satisfaction. Take proactive steps to reduce overdue balances and prevent write-offs. Detect potential causes of account delinquency and notify management promptly. Suggest effective strategies for account management and collections to leadership.

Collections Specialist Requirements:

At least 4 years of experience in an office environment; collections background preferred. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with strong problem-solving abilities. Self-starter with a results-driven, entrepreneurial approach. Comfortable placing a high volume of daily outbound calls. Capable of working autonomously and managing time effectively. Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word. Highly organized with strong prioritization capabilities and keen attention to detail.
